The Romanian Cultural Centre in London

“Owing to the presence in Oxford, this academic year, of Fr Pimen from the Oasa Monastery (Alba county, Romania), a series of Divine Liturgies, mainly in Romanian, will take place in the Orthodox Church, 1 Canterbury Road, Oxford.

The Liturgies are scheduled for the following Saturdays:
17 February, 17 March, 14 April, 5 May, 19 May, 2 June, 16 June, 30 June, 21 July, 4 August, and 18 August 2007.

The services would usually begin at 10.30, finishing at roughly 12.15. We hope to follow most or all of them with coffee/refreshments /meals – we would circulate details closer to the respective times.

Please help us advertise these as widely as possible. These Liturgies are not intended exclusively for Romanians and, depending on the attendance, a moderate amount of English would be used in the services.

Please note that these are Community events, and not events of the Oxford Romanian Cultural Society.” ( Oxford Romanian Cultural Association)
