‘Flash Art’ magazine (Vol XXXIX, No. 251, November-December 2006) dedicates a good number of pages to contemporary Romanian art. The article ‘Focus Romania ’ by Giancarlo Politi presents information on some of the best known and most prolific artists in the country (page 90 onwards). On page 96, Alessandro Rabotini presents an interview with artist Mircea Cantor (whose work, Deeparture, also illustrates the cover of the magazine), and Romanian art critic and curator Simona Nastac paints a portrait of artist Victor Man, starting on page 100.

‘Flash Art’ magazine is available in the bookshops of Tate Modern, the ICA , as well as in all major art galleries.
