The internationally acclaimed Romanian sculptor and jazzman Eugen Petri finally arrives in London, after exhibiting across Europe and America . Petri’s works, combining Byzantine and post-modernist shapes, will be seen in a new exhibition of sculpture and drawings entitled Jazz - Soul and Shape which opens at the Posk Gallery, 238 - 246 King Street, London W6 0RF.
Jazz – Soul and Shape is an exploration of the twin universes of music and form, embodied in bronze sculptures and mixed-media drawings, complemented by the atmosphere of the gallery.
The exhibition launches on Saturday 17 February, at 17.00, with a guided tour conducted by Sanda Miller and Mik Flood. Refreshments will be served during the evening.

“To configure jazz plastically, beyond the human shape, to configure an abstraction such as sound, is already an adventure.” (Corneliu Antim - Art Critic)
