About the Artist:
Mihaela Panaitescu is an Award winner plurivalent artist, passionate about painting in acrylic, oil, tempera on various supports (cloth, cardboard, wall, textile, wood), fashion design, graphics, mixed techniques, paintings, collages, tapestries, painting of wood icons and painting on textiles. She is also a jewelry designer, creating unique accessories.
Over 100 of her works from modern paintings, collages, tapestries, icons to exclusive day/evening dresses are exhibited, both in her own country and abroad.
Mihaela Panaitescu graduated in 1996 from the "Marin Sorescu" Art School in Craiova (drawing, painting, fashion creation), and in 2002, "Nicolae Grigorescu" Art University of Bucharest (Faculty of Arts Decorative and Design, Fashion Department), becoming a Fine Arts & Decorative Fine Arts, Textile Arts, Fashion Design Grad. Member of the Union of Fine Artists, Painting section since 2003.
