Les filmes de Cannes a Bucarest (14 - 23 October 2016)

Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest comes back between October 14th and 23rd, for the seventh year in a row. This is an extended edition, with over 100 screenings of the most anticipated films of the Cannes Film Festival selection. For the first time, the festival will last for ten days and there will also be previews and screenings with special guests in the cities of Cluj-Napoca, Iași and Timișoara.

Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest brings dozens of films for the first time in Romania, some of them with the filmmakers in attendance, as well as master-classes, round tables, retrospectives and other special events.

This year’s Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest will take place at CinemaPRO, Cinema Elvire Popesco, Cinema Muzeul Țăranului and the Auditorium Hall at the National Art Museum. The Cluj-Napoca edition will take place during the weekend of October 14 to 16, at Cinema Victoria. The Timisoara edition will be organised between October 21 and 22, and the Iasi edition between October 28 and 29.


This event is organized by Cinemascop Association and Voodoo Films.
