This concert is given by Leticia Moreno (violin) with Ana-Maria Vera (piano). Winner of numerous competitions and awards, Leticia Moreno has performed at many of the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals. Acclaimed for the haunting beauty of her tone and her emotional power, her programme includes the world premiere of Capriccio, written for her by leading Spanish composer Francisco Lara.

Bartok ‘Romanian Folk Dances’ Sz56 are in a special arrangement arranged for violin and piano. The programme also contains Beethoven: Violin Sonata No. 9 in A Op. 47 ‘Kreutzer’; Debussy: Violin Sonata in G minor; de Falla: Suite populaire espagnole for violin & piano (arr. Kozcansky); Sarasate: Carmen Fantasy Op. 25
