Eliana Pretorian was born in Romania. After winning in 1999 and 2000 the first prize award of the Romanian National Singing Competition, she was awarded in 2001 a full scholarship to the Royal College of Music in London. After winning the Kathleen Ferrier competition Eliana started studying at the Benjamin Britten Opera School. Eliana has performed widely in Britain and Europe.
