Tudor Andrei started training as a musician at an early age, in his home-town. Later on he moved to Bucharest, where he graduated from ‘George Enescu’ Music High School. Soon after this, he was awarded a place at the Royal Academy of Music, where he now studies with violinist Remus Azoitei. Tudor has given many performances in Europe and is the recipient of numerous awards in Romania and abroad, the most prestigious being the first prize in the International Competition of the Niccolo Paganini Music Academy, Italy. At the moment, he is Artist in Residence of the Romanian Cultural institute / ICR, in London.
While studying in London, Tudor Andrei is supported by the Ratiu Foundation UK.
