The seminar ‘Hapsburg Reflections? Culture versus Politics in Austria , 1934-38: theatre’s response to authoritarian rule’ is led by John Warren, (Oxford Brookes, Emeritus) and Dr Robert Pyrah (Wolfson College, Oxford).

This seminars series is organised by Dr Robert Pyrah and Dr Marius Turda, former students of Oxford University.

Sessions are consciously interactive: participation is encouraged. Speakers will usually address the seminar for no more than 15 minutes each to facilitate group discussion. Pub visits usually follow individual sessions.
