Spectacular 35-strong multi-national orchestra – exotically costumed and playing barefoot – led by violinist Gundula Gruen. Expect fiery fiddling, vibrant strings, mandolins, accordions, voices, horns and more, in exuberant dance tunes and dramatic songs of romantic passion, strange adventures and curious moral tales! The repertoire comes from Romania, Russia, Hungary, Macedonia, Bulgaria and beyond, and ranges from well-known tunes to pieces discovered and arranged by Gundula and the orchestra.
