The Ensemble Raro was formed in 2004 by four outstanding young musicians, quickly establishing their place internationally with creative programming, combining contemporary and classical repertoire to critical acclaim. Among other works presented to the public, Ensemble Raro gave the British and German premières of Peteris Vasks’s Piano Quartet.
Award-winning mezzo-soprano Roxana Constantinescu is currently part of Vienna Staatsoper’s ensemble whilst also appearing regularly as a guest artist in both concert and opera around the world.
This concert is supported by the SoNoRo Association and Romanian Cultural Institute in London.
