Salvador Dali works on display at Cantacuzino Castel

Representative masterpieces of Surrealism will be exhibited at the Cantacuzino Castle in Busteni, Prahova Valley. The exhibition called Salvador Dali. "Welcome into my brain2 will feature over 200 works by well-known artist Salvador Dali.

Between July 22 and October 4, the castle’s visitors will have the chance to see Dali sketches that illustrated great literary works such as The Divine Comedy, The Old Man and the Sea, Pantagruel, but also the Tarot cards.

In the next two years, the Cantacuzino Castle will host other important exhibitions that will feature original drawings by Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall lithographies, and paintings signed Picasso, Toulouse-Lautrec and Renoir.

The Cantacuzino Castle was inaugurated in 1911 at the wish of Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino. The building, made of bricks and stone, is built in a neo-Romanian style and stretches over a surface of 3,148 sqm.
