This summer don't miss Vasile Nedelcu's play "The Tale of the Pig" winner of the first ever "Camp Bestival" Best Family Show Award at this year's Brighton Fringe, and now comes to delight you all at Camp Bestival 2015.

"Outstanding" - "brilliant" - "totally alive" - "heart-warming" - "empowering" - "joyous" - "sublime" - "glorious" - just some of the words used by audiences and critics to describe The Tale of the Pig. Just an hour long, this adaptation of a much-loved Romanian fairy-tale is fun, funny, magical and entertaining - and suitable for all ages.

"The Tale of the Pig" is directed by award-winning Romanian director Vasile Nedelcu - also winner of Best Family Show at Brighton Fringe in 2005 - and has original music composed by David Brett, a founder member of The Flying Pickets.

"This show is truly beautiful - Wonderfully creative and imaginative, It makes you laugh and cry along the way. A 'must see' that warms the heart and gives hope for humanity." Paul Wheeler, Director 'Have I Got News for You'

“We witness in this performance proof of the transformative power of art for both audience and actor. The cast punctuate the action with lively songs written by David Brett and the delightful gipsy violin of Anna Cooper. The large number of small children in the auditorium was clearly enthralled…"
Peter Bull, london theatreviews

***** “Vasile Nedelcu is a master of his craft."  Veronica Lazar, RemoteGoat
