On Saturday 3 July, ROMANIAN, ADJECTIVE presented a modern classic of Romanian cinema – SAND CLIFFS by Dan Pita, a film which was banned by the communist regime almost immediately after its 1983 release. The screening was followed by a Q&A with director Dan Pita and the film’s star, Victor Rebengiuc, moderated by Dr Mike Phillips OBE.

The second film of the evening was THE MEDAL OF HONOUR by Calin Peter Netzer, also starring Victor Rebengiuc, followed by a Q&A moderated by Dr Mike Phillips OBE.
