Open Arena: Theatre of Testimonies returns to the Romanian Cultural Centre with  Memodrome: Exile - an exciting story about the challenges of leaving one’s home country after being exposed to a repressive political system. The performance deals with the individual struggle to understand the marks left by the past, while having to assimilate a new culture.

An exploratory performance about the feeling of ‘living in between’, Memodrome: Exile looks at the challenges of being a foreigner and the many issues referring to the ‘immigrant state’.

Join us on the 25th of April 2013 at the Romanian Cultural Centre London (RCC) for a daring Forum Theatre performance designed by Immersive Theatre.

Memodrome: Exile is a participative theatre event exploring true narratives of Romanian exiled in the UK and memories of Romanian communism. The performance also addresses contemporary challenges of the Romanian Diaspora living in the UK. Memodrome: Exile is a platform for interaction and intercultural exchange. All welcomed.
