For the first time in the UK, Cezara-Lucia Vlădescu, winner of the Public Prize at the Montreux Jazz Festival, will perform an exclusive program, including jazz, pop and rock fusion at Jazz Cafe Camden Town.

Being taught to play the piano by her mother Carmen Giorgiana Vlădescu from an earlier age, at only eight years old she was awarded the Romanian Musical Critics Union Prize, and in August 2000 as a Romanian young artist representative she gave a highly acclaimed recital at the Expo 2000 Hannover Exhibition. Then aged 14 she started at the Music Academy in Karlsruhe (Germany), completing her studies of the piano shortly after, going on to win the IBLA Grand Prize, which led to her debut performance at Carnegie Hall. Since then, she has gone from strength to strength and in 2012 won the Public Prize at the Montreux Jazz Festival, with her first Jazz CD “Songs For Dodo” being released in January 2013. She has created a special, personal and stylistic interpretation of baroque music, extending her talent from the classical to jazz and rock´n´roll, gaining public recognition through numerous national and international performances. “The face of a new era”, she’s also intensively engaged in acting and fashion, proving irrefutable talent and innovative perspectives.
