‘Romanian Folklore Fest' inaugurates the series of events with two extraordinary Romanian traditional Carol concerts  named 'The Night of the Holy Birth', which will be full of folklore richness. The Christmas traditional carols interpreted by the young artists Maria Filimon, Denisa Balu, Oana Carmen Bozga, Catalin Hasa and Ionut Robert Pumnea, will present a clear image the importance and beauty of Christmas in Romania. The artists will be accompanied by instrumental artists of the Professional Ensemble Cerbul Carpatin from Brasov, which will take the public in a journey through the old villages of Romania and the celebration atmosphere of Christmas.

The events will also host the vocal recital of children  from Alexz Educational Center and  exhibition the  of 'Saint Maria' Group London, coordinated Prof. Aurelia Chiriac Carabinieru, an iconographer  and visual artist, with an experience of over 40 years in Byzantine Iconography and exhibitions in various cities in Romania and United Kingdom.

We plan a beginning which will bring in front of the Romanian and English audiences, the most authentic information, artists and materials provided by Romania's traditional folk heritage.

Through these events Romanian Arts and Folklore Association tries to not only promote Romania's folklore heritage but also promote young talents from various cultural sectors. This is the reason why our Association , through Romanian Folklore Fest will offer a bursary to a young artist, student of the Music University in Brasov, Romania.
Our aim is also to promote the images of those who had been key figures in our romanian folklore and culture, therefore Romanian Folklore Fest will also offer to symbolical certificates named after 'Marioara Murarescu' and 'I.C. Vasiliu, to those who had worked in conserving and promoting Romanian traditional values and arts abroad.

Guests of Honour:
