Join the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of London for a performance of Enescu's beautiful Romanian Rhapsody No. 2 and the London premiere of Symphony Carpatica by Calin Huma, a Romanian-British composer. Huma’s Symphony is inspired by the Carpathian Mountains in Romania and takes listeners on a journey to the grandeur of the colossal peaks, folk-like melodies and energetic rhythmic finale.

World-renowned pianist Leslie Howard joins the PCOL for a powerful performance of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2, a work regarded by many as the greatest piano concerto of them all. Its gorgeous melodies and inspired form has made it a mainstay of the repertoire.
