Soprano Laura Nicorescu at St James’s Piccadilly

Romanian soprano Laura Nicorescu will be performing today at St. James's Church Piccadilly. She will be accompanied by Florian Podgoreanu on piano.

ABOUT THE SOPRANO
Laura Nicorescu attended the Universty of Music, Bucharest and Mozarteum University, Salzburg. After graduation, she became a member of the Opera Studio of the Bavarian State Opera. Her international career includes roles like Konstanze ('Die Entführung aus dem Serail'), and Despina ('Cosi fan tutte') at Vlaamse Opera, Belgium, Pamina ('Die  Zauberflöte') at Hof, Germany and Susanna ('Le Nozze di Figaro') at Theater Krefeld- Mönchengladbach, Germany and Bucharest National Opera. In 2016, Laura successfully gave her French debut as Zerlina in 'Don Giovanni' at Opera de Normadie.
