The concept behind Dragoste comes from a graffiti made by Dan-Raul Pintea in 2011, when he was broke and unemployed.

Dragoste | Love.

That's all he could say while he embraced strangers one night after he got drunk at a party of free booze. But it was a good thing, because by embracing inevitable self-destruction, the artist removed his layers of inhibition (like onion layers) and reached the centre of his heart.

At the moment he realized the quintessential, he knew what this was: Love. The missing spark from his search for a way to survive only by making Art. From hell, like Orpheus, but without looking back, he brought the soul of his heart to the surface through the word Love, which he then translated into every single work.

Ever since, Love has grown and became the main means of subsistence for the Artist who now comes to London to present his stages of Love.

The exhibition is intended to be a synthesis of the years 2009-2016, of the Artist's 5th life cycle, which is currently undergoing a new cycle and wants to bring Love with him to the next level - to something more than simply a product of subsistence.
