AFF Sibiu is a window on the latest international documentary production, the venue for the newest Romanian documentaries to premiere, and the right spot to feel the pulse of Eastern European documentary film production.
AFF Sibiu is the place to meet fellow-filmmakers from around the world, and to debate upon major issues faced by documentarists while exposing real life and real people on the big screen, and to interact with professionals and with an enthusiastic audience.
Besides the four AFF Competition Sections, the Festival offers tribute programmes, showcases, thematic programmes, and a variety of parallel events. AFF Sibiu is acclaimed for its original programming, and the open and friendly atmosphere.
