Easter is the most important Christian orthodox festival in Romania, when families gather and celebrate through various customs and traditions specific to every region of the country. On this occasion, Cultural Encounters Group will mount a display of traditional costumes, handicrafts and Easter eggs, recreating the atmosphere of traditional Romanian homes.

On Saturday, the 27th of April children are invited for a special workshop including drawing, painting and Easter egg decoration, which is a great occasion for cultural exchange. All welcome!

Join us for a weekend dedicated to the celebration of orthodox Easter, a great occasion to find out more about Romanian customs and traditions.

The exhibition will be on display until the 11th of May 2013
