Pottery Workshop with Master Craftsman Cornel Sitar

The Ashmolean Museum in Oxford hosted, Saturday 24 July 2010, a unique workshop with Romanian master craftsman Cornel Sitar. This event was organised by the Ratiu Foundation / Romanian Cultural Centre as a part of the Ashmolean's exhibition 'The Lost World of Old Europe'. The visitors - children and parents alike - were treated to a presentation of an ancient craft, and under the guidance of master Cornel Sitar, they all had a go at the potter's wheel, modelling their very own objects.
