The Conference will look into the impact of Brexit on Romania and its bilateral relations with the UK.
Based on a rigorous analysis of the most probable scenarios, the aim of the conference is to identify and provide recommendations on how Romania should position itself, both economically as regards its bilateral relations with the UK, and at the EU level regarding the negotiations on Brexit.
As such, Brexit could become an opportunity for Romania to act as an important regional player in these negotiations. Last but not least, given the large number of Romanian citizens living and working in the UK, protecting their rights in the United Kingdom is of great importance.
