Romanian Evening Courses at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES)
Three term courses in spoken and written Romanian taking place once a week from 18.30 to 20.30. The Evening Course Programme covers four levels (beginners, lower intermediate, upper intermediate and advanced) and is designed to teach participants how to communicate effectively in Romanian. All four skills are taught – reading, writing, listening and speaking – with particular emphasis being placed on oral communication. Courses present the language as it is spoken today in everyday situations, covering basic survival skills for beginners through to fluent communication at advanced levels. Small class sizes allow maximum involvement of all participants. The courses will take place on 2 October-15 December, 8 January-23 March, 23 April – 8 June. Students will have access to the School’s extensive collection of books, journals, newspapers and audio/video resources. There are reductions for UCL and University of London alumni, staff and students. Please enquire for details. Students who have completed the course will receive a certificate.
