The London Book Fair is the global marketplace for rights negotiation alongside the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV film and digital channels.

On 10 April from 11:30 author and editor Magda Cârneci joins translator Will Firth and associate publisher Katharina Bielenberg (MacLehose Press) in a conversation about various editorial approaches as part of a wider cultural style. The panel, chaired by Susan Curtis-Kojakovic, Founding Director of Istros Books, will look at the decisions that one must make in order to successfully enable a book to travel - not just from one language to another but across cultures.

Celebrating its 47th anniversary, The London Book Fair (LBF) promises to bring you three days of knowledge, creativity and innovation. It is impossible not to be fascinated and inspired following your visit.

The show is at the heart of London Book & Screen Week; uncovering and uniting readers, writers, gamers and film fans alike. All sectors of the publishing industry will be covered from mainstream publishers to specialised houses.

The event holds two award ceremonies each year. The International Excellence Awards, celebrating publishing outside of the UK and The Trailblazers, which highlights up-and-coming stars who are setting trends within the industry.

Staged annually, LBF sees more than 25,000 publishing professionals arrive in London to learn, network and kick off their year of business.
