POSSIBLE FUTURES
At the Romanian Cultural Centre in London (RCC) we are planning a year dedicated to unveiling outstanding narratives concerning our history, our culture and, of course, our people. 25 years on since the fall of communism in Eastern Europe and Romania’s first democratic elections, we are now facing rapid social changes that imply new possible futures for our country. Therefore, this year we will be promoting events reflecting on the emerging new forms of social responsibility, civil engagement and the galvanising of truly meaningful actions within the Romanian communities at home and abroad.
Drawing on knowledge, experiences, memories as well as aspirations of some of the most representative contemporary Romanians, our cultural programme for 2015 asserts our persistant belief in the society’s development and progress through arts and culture.
