The National Foundation of Young Managers
is a partner in the Re>patriot project launched by The Romanian Business Leaders Foundation
Re>patriot aims to attract Romanians working abroad back home to open a business, firstly by organizing seven conferences abroad. The problem solved by the project is the poor access to first hand information about the opportunities to be an entrepreneur in Romania.

The online website and  the social network Facebook page include all the information about the project’s success stories ( of entrepreneurs who have managed to build their healthy and fair businesses), guides for entrepreneurs, the conferences program, funding and sponsorship opportunities .

There are millions of Romanians abroud. According to a study conducted in 2012 in Italy, 23% of the interviewed Romanians said they want to invest in a business in Romania, or want to search for a job in Romania.  The project generally addresses Romanians living in Italy, Spain, UK and other countries.

The project simultaneously targets Romanians who have long been abroad and want to remain there, but are interested to start a business and can transfer their expertise and best practices acquired in their adopted country.

Romania needs more value generators!
In the first phase, the project will organize seven conference in Italy, Spain and the UK, where Romanians can establish a direct contact with successful entrepreneurs who do fair business in Romania. Opportunities to do business in the country  will be promoted  during the events and successful examples of entrepreneurs who chose to remain in Romania and managed to build healthy and fair businesses will be presented.

The project will develop and provide an online portal to aggregate information about starting a business in Romania and it will also provide advice on business and employment opportunities in the country.
Government institutions, organizations from the country and other civil society groups can help entrepreneurs come from the diaspora to build the resources they need to overcome obstacles in order to develop the robust economic areas in Romania. Reducing the differences between the West and Romania and the introduction of new business ideas are some of the most valuable contributions of Romanians abroad.

We are ready to promote with all our strengh this program to bring back in Romania our values!
