On 16 January 2009, to mark the opening night screening of 'Boogie' , RCC welcomed actors Anamaria Marinca (star of '4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days') and Mimi Branescu, and screenwriter Alexandru Baciu, for a Q&A moderated by film writer and critic Ian Haydn Smith.

The event, supported by the Ratiu Foundation / Romanian Cultural Centre in London, took place at the Renoir Cinema, London.
