At the invitation of the Ratiu Foundation, Romanian actor extraordinaire Ion Caramitru visited London for a series of meetings and a special Culture Power presentation that took place on the evening of Thursday 19 May 2011. Mr Caramitru's speech - When Do We Want It? Now! - which was received warmly by the audience, was based on a discourse he delivered in 1992 in the Chamber of Commons of the British Parliament.

The Ratiu Foundation talk was followed by a Q&A session with the audience, hosted by Dr Mike Phillips OBE, convenor of the Culture Power series, and a drinks reception. [gallery]
